I am a UI/UX designer at Levi's in Austin, merging my design passion with creating intuitive digital experiences. With an eye for aesthetics and understanding of user behavior, I specialize in crafting user-friendly interfaces. Forbes 30 Under 30 recognized my outstanding contributions in UI/UX design.
From an early age, I was deeply inspired by my father’s work with an organization he founded in India called Villages Integrated Social Action. This organization focused on rebuilding villages by providing the residents with the skills and resources they needed to thrive. Witnessing his dedication to improving the lives of others left a lasting impact on me and instilled in me a strong commitment to community service.
This inspiration led me to become actively involved in my own community from a young age. I started student organizations that aimed to make a difference, and at 18 years old, I had the honor of representing India at the Asia Summit Cities Conference in Australia. My passion for advocacy continued as I took on the fight for AIDS eradication, which brought me to Vienna, Austria. Throughout my life, I have volunteered with multiple nonprofits, both in the USA and India, always driven by the desire to contribute to the greater good.
Growing up, I watched my father dedicate his life to helping others through the work he did in rebuilding villages in India. His commitment to being a force for good inspired me to make a positive impact in the world. This inspiration has been a guiding light throughout my life, driving me to serve others and make a difference in any way I can.
Now, as a father myself, I want to lead by example for my own children. I want them to see the value in serving others, in standing up for what’s right, and in working to improve the community we live in. Running for mayor stems from this deep-seated passion for serving the community I love. I believe in the power of collective action and the importance of strong, compassionate leadership. By running for mayor, I hope to bring positive change to our city and inspire the next generation to continue the work of building a better world.
